From a bad service to being petrified

I work in a store at Clearwater. Went to kingsmead store Branch since it's convenient for me. I had realized that the shoe I always wanted was now on sale💃. Went around the store with no assistance, then eventually saw a gentle man ( who works in the store) approaching my direction then asked him about the certain shoe I was looking for. He immediately gave me a bad attitude.

Then moved away from him...went to another gentleman I saw in the store and asked him if I may speak to the manager. And he responded that he is the manager. I then told him about my experience with the previous guy

I really didn't see his response coming... He instantly responded and said there is no way that guy would that, he's the best in the store. With so much shock, I said there is no use continuing with the conversation, if he's gonna defend him and I went out of the store.

An hour later, back at the store where I work. I was having lunch in the kitchen when a colleague of mine came to call me saying there is a gentle man asking for me. With so much curiosity I went, only to realize is the guy working at kingsmead shoe store ( the one who gave me an attitude). As I was approaching him he shouted at me, Infront of my colleagues asking me what my problem is. I immediately asked him to go outside so that we can talk properly. When we stood by the entrance of my store he said to me how dare I try and spoil his day like that. Continued telling me that he's the best at what he does and even his manager knows that . Told me to do him a favor by never setting my foot at his store ( kingsmead shoe store) ever again,or else...and walked away.

Am really disappointed on how the manager (Sibusiso) handled this matter to begin with 🥺and petrified of this guy ( he did not have his name tag on )because Kingsmead is where I normally buy my son shoes as their quality is amazing.
