Modern Day Slavery

Kingsley Heath is such a terrible place for anyone who works there. Their customer service is great as they hire people who know what they are doing but their treatment of staff is absolutely outrageous! During December trade, their in-store staff do not get days off. Some stores do not even have an actual store manager but rather assistants who are expected to assume store manager roles on an assistants salary and cover the hours of both roles without compensating them for the additional hours. Their staff is expected to come in 2 hours before the start of trade to "clean" and should the store be clean they can only sit there and are not allowed to step out. They are given only one off day a week of which at times they are expected to give it up but never do they get back their time in lieu or get over time paid to them. Finding out such information was a shock to say the least especially when December has extended trading hours
