Waste of money, choose another venue

1) We did bring our own Jumping castle however your electrical supply wasn't able to manage 2 jumping castles and a water slide. Every time we switched the water slide on the power would trip and weren't able to run the water slide, your staff can confirm this. We left it off as not to cause more issues, for this reason we feel we should be refunded.

2) The attached picture is of the Special birthday chair which wasn't so special for R750.00. We could've actually purchased a chair of higher quality than what was provided as it was a plastic kids chair with cloth over it. I don't see what was so special about this. The photo was taken before we even started the birthday event and feel we should be refunded for this.

3) We hired the microwave however on closer inspection noticed it had 2-3 holes in it which we feel is very unsafe and unsanitary.

4) The play set wasn't ready at 09:00, it was ready at 10:30 of which we had to assist your staff member on assembling it. I think this wasn't fair on us hiring and paying for this to do the work ourselves. Your ***** for the play set were beyond digusting for infants, it was kept in bin packets and was so dirty we asked your staff member to wash it first and in the packet was a Cut Open Can which is unsafe

5) Your power supply kept tripping of which I had to run back and forth to keep switching on, this wasn't fair on me as I wasn't paid to do your work and couldnt enjoy my Childs birthday party. You mentioned there would be a staff member to assist us but I had to hunt down someone on a different venue. I paid for this and feel that your staff are not prepared and trained to handle these events.

6) Your venue is not COC compliant and outside plugs are not closed off, plug points are faulty. Your staff used extensions covered with a plastic bags that were also tripping the system. We did raise the concern with your staff however they say, issues are raised but nobody listens(Extensions, Plugs, Tripping). I think it is not very positive of how things are run.

7) The Magician wasn't very professional and couldnt even juggle, he had a juggling act with Fire however almost burned kids by dropping a stick extremely close to them. They were screaming and running away.

I highly don't recommend this venue as the owner is arrogant and not helpful at all. The outside is very run down, If you don't have a choice of venue I think its best only hire the venue and not anything from them. We had previous complaints of dirty toilets which was rectified before we hire the venue. Hopefully this assist someone else on making a decision on whether to use them or not.
