Kingfisher Hallows Sir Lowry's Road Western Cape - ****mers!

One star is even too much for this establishment. The pictures on booking.com is a far way from the actual place. the appearance is that of a beautiful, peaceful well kept place but when you get there, it is unkept, unsanitary and dreary place. We booked for two nights but upon arrival we were very disappointed with the place, one room had a broken window on the door, i was told the wind broke it. the walls had marks on, the bedding had marks on, the mattresses were worn, kitchen not clean, one bathroom had no shower enclosure, the other room had a whole colony of ants, in general the place was shocking and not up to standard. I was told by the manager that they had a 3 star rating, I'm not sure how that was possible. i spoke to the manager and he said that a lot of guests were shocked when they saw the place as they believed that the photos was an accurate indication of the place, instead it is not, this is false advertising. He also said that he would speak to the owners and ask them to refund me, this has not happened. I feel that we have been ****med or de*****ed by these people. We had to find alternate accommodation which was unplanned expenses. I would not recommend this place to anyone, you will be very disappointed.
