Kingfisher Guest House Summerstrand the most horrible Guest House EVER

What a horrible establishment. I booked at this guest house, and I was disgusted at the place. I had booked a family room and the room I was allocated was shocking. The room had a horrible stench, the cutlery was rusted, it was so cold, and the heater didn't work, the floors were sticky. We couldn't even use the extra blankets as they looked like they had not been washed for years. The bed frame was full of dust. The cherry on top was the door that was too small for the door frame that I had to stuff towels at the bottom and on top to close the gaps. My grandchildren started coughing from the cold that I went to reception to ask for a better room and I was told there are no more rooms available. I had no choice but to call around and look for a better place. I sent an email complaining about the state of the room and attached pictures, and the response was that the owners were not on site and would be informed. Eventually I got a place which was way more expensive, and we moved out in the middle of the night with small children. I requested for a refund 3 weeks later no one has even bothered to come back to me. I have sent numerous emails, and the only response is that the email has been sent to the owners. My husband called to enquire what was going on with the refund and this was the same response given to him that the owners have not said anything yet. Clearly the owners do not care.
