King Shaka International Airport and Fidelity
Security personnel broke my 90 ml perfume which I had bought in November 2024, and I was traveling in December 2024. I was taking out the electronics on my backpack as per the norm when Security1 said I must leave it, Security2 on the other side will do it (said it was a random/special check - don't remember clearly what he called it). I don't know how Security2 managed the bag, but the bottle fell. I was given a card with contact details for complains, which I did, and I was told through Fidelity security findings that it was my fault the bag was already open, and they were not accounting that Security1 is the one who told me to put the bag down when I was trying to empty it. They offered to pay half the bottle prize, which I thought was an insult, mind you it was almost full; not taking into account that I had to buy a substitute coz I couldn't be a smelly while vacating, and eventually had to replace my scent, which messed up my finances.
