I stay in Mthatha at Maydene Farm Township. We had some of the house's power cut on Friday. We tried to call the KSD call centre at one point the ladies there would tell us that their electricians are working slowly due to not having a supervisor so they are doing as they please but eventually they will come through it's just that they are working slowly and at another point we were told that there are no electricians on duty altogether because they are on strike and they at the call centre were promised they would get an electrician over the weekend but weren't getting any so it was up to the bosses as to when they would get an electrician to send.

It also turns out electricians aren't on duty because it's a long weekend and a pay weekend so no one wishes to report on duty we can only be helped on Tuesday. It's such an inconvenience that people have to suffer for a number of todays merely because of a pay weekend and more over the ladies at the call centre telling all sorts of different stories.
