Sales pitch with hollow words

Buying a second-hand car can be interesting. But what this review is about is the various sales pitches given by the sales executive. The 'senior sales executive' gave a pitch that they also offer a extended vehicle warrantees BUT he also added that should it not be used for 2 years, half of the original value will be refunded or can be used towards extending another 2 years. This was in fact a LIE. The product DOES NOT refund if no claim has been submitted for 2 years. Upon querying this after the 2 years lapsed, you get answers such as "they may have stopped doing it" and "I have never had a request like that" to "I never said that".

Moral of the story: Even in today's business where there are many laws governing cars sales, sales executives still push forward with nonsense like this. General Warning: If you are looking into buying a second-hand car, maybe think twice before doing business with this group.
