Nightmare of unprofessional staff

King George hospital in Durban is totally unprofessional because some staff members don't do their duties in accordance to their job description, I had a traumatic experience when my dad was admitted until his demise, at admission they said he will be in ward G, when i decided to check up to see on my dad, the eard could not locate my dad, then only to find out his in watd A. 2days after admission at the hospital, I was notified to come to the mortuary and as muslims we bury the same day, as I arrived at the mortuary there was only a security that said there is no clerk to assist us in releasing the deceased. Where is the respect for religion, I waited for 2 hours outside the mortuary making calls to the hospital for assistance and the nurses from the ward were not able to assist they couldn't tell me if the body is still in the ward or what. until I insisted on speaking to the matron. I had to wait until staff shift changed until somebody could fill in necessary documents to release my dad's body so we could proceed with the funeral arrangements. It was so heartbreaking and disappointing to see how unorganized that hospital is. It is so sad that as south africans our values are dropping and the integrity of government hospitals are not reliable. I am going to expose them for they are messing with peoples lives. If i had not insisted and complained until I was heard we would still be waiting for my dad's body today. I have no respect and confidence at all for the staff that don't do their jobs. During a difficult time we facing as a country where is ubuntu. We complain about unemployment but when we employed some of us take it for granted. To the person that finally assisted us thank you.
