King Edward's Preparatory School

I just cannot understand the criteria this school wants I've been trying to get my son enrolled for 2 years now, the 1st time I acknowledge I that the fault was on my side it was a late application because I went in 2 months later after applications were opened, this year I enrolled him for grade 1 2019, applications went live on the 16th of April 2018 at 8:00AM. I app**** at exactly that time and the next morning I sent documentation to the school as requested, time went by by now it was time for placement, my status was left on pending for that placement period and than I called the GDE to find out what was happening, I was told to wait until the 30th of October because there were high volumes and they were extending the placement period, and I waited, before end of October I decided to follow up, to my surprise one lady from GDE told me I app**** 30minutes late and the school was already full at the time. Now I want to know why is it that people who app**** at the same school a week late still got their kids placed and I was supposedly 30 minutes late but still couldn't secure a place for my son, do I need to be white or a foreign national in order to be considered the next time I apply for grade 2 2020, because I will really try my hardest to be one of the two or even both.
