Zimbabwean Builder Does Not Deliver Service

Our neighbours did renovations for 6 months and that's how we met Vincent (Collen) Jiri of King Builders/Renovators and started discussing some building work on our property. He talked the talk and even gave us some drawings, a materials list and a list of the job in phases. He seemed legit, especially since he had been building for our neighbours for so long. What we didn't know was that in November, he had been fired for not doing the work properly and that he was a subcontractor to another subcontractor. Our neighbour was on holiday, when Vincent approached us about starting the project. After several convincing meetings (he really is a builder), we paid the requested deposit into his ABSA account and that's when he changed his cell phone number and disappeared. We contacted the banks and the police and saw that he even has Facebook accounts, one with another surname. We also found the Feya person, whose e-mail address he uses on Facebook. Please be warned of Vincent's activities and that he can be very convincing.
