Huggies Gold Pants what a disgrace
I'm highly disappointed or rather disgusted with Huggies diaper's at the moment. I'm a regular customer of Huggies diapers and have been using this brand since the birth of my daughter in 2019 up until my last purchase in November 2021 where I've been disappointed in the newly Huggies diaper pants product I purchased. Below is my complaint I've sent to the careline on 22nd November 2021. "Morning, with reference to the attached picture I am highly disgusted by the latest Huggies product I’ve bought for my 2 year old toddler. I’ve been using Huggies diapers since birth and this is the very 1st time that I feel I am done with Huggies. I normally buy the Huggies dry comfort jumbo pack, however I thought let me give the new Huggies gold pants a try up to my disgrace. I put the diaper on for my daughter at night as per usual, she only drinks 150 ml milk bottle per night and is always dry the next morning but not with the Huggies gold pants. My daughter was soaking wet and the bed with clothes and all. I could not believe my eyes and put another diaper on to see how it would go through the day. Same thing happened. She did not even consume such a lot of liquid for the diaper to be soaking wet up to the point where it oozes out and then wet her clothing. I discontinued using the pants and had to buy a new pack of diapers with my tight budget so that my daughter can at least be comfortable" I got a response the following day to confirm that my complaint was received and that it will take 10 business days to get resolved. After the 12th day I contacted them and asked for feedback with no luck. I kept on asking for feedback, until I got a call from the office to inform me that my complaint is on hold because they did not receive the pictures which I did sent together with my email as requested from them in the 1st place. Anyhow I've resented the pictures and received a sms regarding my issue in January to say that I have receive a R40 voucher which can be used at Shoprite/Checkers stores. I complained again and informed them that I am not happy with the outcome and did not get any response. I called the customer careline and asked for an explanation where the lady told me that because I did not use a lot of the faulty product they could only issue me with a R40 to make up for the diaper's I've used. She also made it clear to me that there is unfortunately nothing they can do and the voucher is final. I literally had to begged her to take down my complaint as I'm not happy with the outcome and asked her where else I can take the matter after she said there is nothing they can do she agreed to take down my complaint. What frustrate me the most is the following, If a product is faulty how can you expect me to continue using it. Was I suppose to use the whole pack of faulty diaper's before I can lay a complain in order to receive a better outcome? Because basically that is what I was told by the customer service agent I spoke to, according to her I did not use enough diapers hence me receiving the R40 voucher as a goodwill gesture from Huggies. The diapers cost me more than R200 bucks and the Huggies wipes I use is 4 in a pack which cost me over R100 buck so can someone please help me to understand the outcome as there is nothing good in your gesture of R40 and it serves me no justice. Also the fact that I need to beg for a response from Huggies just made things a lot worse and frustrating for me. I am currently still awaiting feedback form Huggies my case nr is ***0. Huggies you really need to look after your loyal customers, loyal customers and word of mouth is what makes your business to grow and prosper, if you continue with this pathetic service you definitely will be losing more and more customers. What really upset me the most is not just the outcome of my case but also the way my case was or is handled. My rating would've been 0-5 but that wasn't a option.
