Terrible experience

Excellent service review was short-lived.Collected my rental vehicle on the 18th of March2026.On the 19th had to bring it back as the car was shaking and making a sound when driving from 70 upwards.Got to the workshop for fixing and one of your employees Shay bumped my car.Mind you the car was stationary. Got 2 calls same day from Corlia and another lady saying the company would cover the costs and would possibly get the car back on Monday as they would also have to take it to the panel beaters. Plot twist i got another notification on WhatsApp yesterday and the story has now changed "management advised that the company would go 50/50 with me as the driver came onto moving traffic".Question is did you have a look at your CCTV?My car was stationary already at your gate as instructed to bring it inside your workshop,driver was parked waiting for the car Shay was driving to move out and my car would then proceed inside.Shay only looked to the right and drove left right into the stationery car!!!The 5-point check is a critical K53 observation technique used before moving off, changing lanes, or turning to ensure 360-degree awareness. It involves checking the left blind spot, left mirror, rear-view mirror, right mirror, and right blind spot to identify hazards. This procedure is essential to prevent accidents .If this was done there would have been NO ISSUE LIKE THIS!!In South Africa, the driver who moves into a stationary (parked or stopped) vehicle is generally considered 100% at fault for the collision. Under South African law, a driver must keep a proper lookout and ensure they can safely pass or stop before hitting an obstruction. !.NOW I'M OUT HERE WITH NO CAR INCONVENIENCED AND NOW TOLD THEY WILL CHECK THE COSTS AS TO WHAT I WILL BE LIABLE FOR!!!!AND UNFORTUNATELY WE CANNOT PROMISE WHEN YOU WILL GET THE CAR BACK!!!DEBIT ORDER WILL STILL GO OFF WITHOUT THE CAR IN MY POSSESSION!!!!!I AM REALLY NOT HAPPY AND WILL DEFINITELY HESITATE REFERRING PEOPLE I KNOW AND WILL SHARE MY EXPERIENCE PUBLICLY. I NEED THE CAR BACK AND WITH SOLID AND URGENT ASSISTANCE
