Not a happy client
I bought a Hyundai Tucson at Kilokor Motors on the 30th of March 2019. I really thought I was going to enjoy this car, but it has given me more grief then enjoyment. In April 2019 already I had issues with the car. The front passenger door was not locking, big risk for theft or hijacking. The rear window defroster was not working the wiring was lose, the defroster switch was broken and reverse lights was not working. I took the car back to Kilokor Motors in which they could only fix the door that was not locking and they fixed the rear window’s defroster wiring. Then I had to take the car back so they can fix the defroster switch and reverse lights, but they could not fix the reverse lights as the switch they had was not the correct one. On the 29th June 2019 the car just went dead on the Main Rd in my area not power at all. I had to call in a towing service company which is recommended by Kilokor Motors. I had to pay cash for the towing services to take the car back to Kilokor Motors. On Monday the 1st of July 2019 I went to Kilokor Motors and was told that regulator and the brushed of the alternator was finished. They have to fixed it or do something and on the 2nd of July 2019 I had to pay for labour and the removal and repair of the alternator and brushes. What’s worse is that there is no service history book for the car and the insurance requires the service history in order to process a claim. I mean for any dealership to sells you a car is ridiculously, when I enquire about the service I was told I can take it to an approved RMI after I have driven the car for 15000 km, I did not even drove the car for half of that 15000 km and it already give me problems. What I found in the car is shocking, I found a Kilokoror slip of the previous owner with her personal details, this is a clear indication the Kilokor Motors does not protect a client’s personal details as required by the POPI Act. I phoned the lady and asked her about the car and she told me the problems she had with the car, it seems the alternator is an old issue as she was telling me how the battery just died and it did not charge, she also made mention of the clutched that give her problems and how the car was jerking a lot , that’s the reason she give it back to Kilokor Motors. In other words I paid for an alternator to be fixed which Kilokor Motors knew about the problem before hand the alternator had. Sorry to say this but I think they just a bunch of ***** and ******.
