Disappointed and heart Brocken

I am so disappointed about the treatment I got after purchasing my VW Golf 7 to their dealership.

I bought this vehicle on the 28may 2021 unfortunately a month later the car he'd to be redone the engen which I took it back to them to fix Fortunately they did fix the vehicle. 2 months later after the engen story the car gear box was giving a problem I took it back to them since the car is still under six months warranty which they told me they were gonna fix the car .

Then Friday 15 October 2021 they send me a massage to come and collect the vehicle Wich was ready for collection. When I arrive at the garage I was asked to pay R9774 which is something that was never discussed to me that I will be expected to pay they just took the car and fix it and agreed it was still under warranty . Otherwise I won't be able to get my car which they kept my car till now. I asked them to give me my money and they can keep their car they are also refusing and now they are calling me that they need to get their car back as they gave me a kia Rio since I told I use my car for work purpose

I reported the matter with RMI but the dealership is not responding to the Emails they sent them .

Mr Mahlangu, we are sorry that you felt that you had a negative experience with our company.  We did fix your vehicle, and supp**** you with a courtesy vehicle, which we are not oblige by any law to do.  We also asked you to pay only half of the wear and tear part  while the balance of the invoice amount was in excess of R30k.  We are also not obliged to pay for wear and tear parts under the CPA. Further to the RMI, we have 10 days to reply to a complaint, but you insisted I reply the same day, which is not always possible.  I did, however spoke to the person at RMI and we discussed the situation and came to a conclusion, I then specifically asked her whether I should reply and she answered in the negative.  You then offered us an amount of R5k, which we accepted.  We are further not obliged by the CPA to refund if we can still repair and replace parts.  We hope that this provides clarity.  Kilokor Management
