Kids Living being ridiculous with their return policy

Never buy anything with the idea that you can return it if you no longer need it. I bought a base for a car seat before I bought the seat. Preparing for a baby, I bought big items over months as it’s too expensive to buy everything at once. We later decided on buying a different car seat which isn’t compatible with the base. I tried to return the R3700 base, which is still in the original box it was delivered in, and they refused as it is more than 30 days after I bought it. It is still brand new, they still sell it in store and on their website and it hasn’t been marked down... so they are sticking to a policy out of spite! It won’t harm them in the least to allow for me to return the item. I even mailed them and very kindly requested them to reconsider as I need the cash but they are still refusing to refund me the cash.
