TERRIBLE First Lesson - No Comfort, Just Left to Cry

*⭐ 1/5 - Extremely upsetting experience - I would not recommend this school to ANYONE*

We had our first lesson at Kiddies Aqua Academy with Nathan and it was an extremely upsetting and distressing experience.

Nathan cried and screamed his lungs out for almost 10 minutes straight and was just left to cry. No one tried to comfort him, get to know him, or help him feel safe. He was just expected to lie on his back and float while screaming.

What was even more shocking was seeing another baby who was already in the SECOND PHASE of lessons, who was absolutely terrified to go to the instructor. He was so scared he just sat on his mom's lap, crying and refusing to go to her. If children are still that terrified after several lessons, something is very wrong with this method.

This is not gentle, child-led teaching. This is just letting small children scream in distress.

We left feeling very upset and disappointed. This school is not a good fit for any child, and I would NOT recommend Kiddies Aqua Academy to anyone - not small babies, not any parent.

We will not be returning.
