KIC KBF 635, worst fridge ever

Purchased a KOC KBF635 fridge in September 2019. It stopped cooling in December 2019. We requested warranty service, and waited 7 days, during which time we had to throw out food. They claimed the gas had leaked out.

The thermostat failed in December 2020. They couldn’t tell us when to expect technicians, so we ended up having to get third party technicians at great cost.

It eventually took a month of repeated visits to get the fridge working.

It has now (May 2022) failed again. It once again needed new gas, and a new thermostat, and only a few hours after being repaired, the gas seems to have escaped again.

We have now spent more repairing it than the original purchase price, as we can’t wait a week for their warranty service, so the claimed five year warranty is meaningless.

We are driving it out to a landfill tomorrow, and will have to buy our second nee fridge in three years. Buy literally anything else.
