I was sold a s**** car

In January 2025 I bought a 2019 Volkswagen Polo Vivo from Kia dealership in Pietermaritzburg. The sales representative was Mr Nkosinathi Mamabolo.

This year few days or week ago I started to feel that the doors panels are keeping water or allow water to penetrate inside especially the front passenger door panel, when it's raining. There's an amount of water inside the front passenger door panel and that what I always feel when I'm driving this car and it frustrates and irritates. According to my knowledge this is not supposed to happen under any rainy weather conditions.

On 17 April 2026 I approached Kia dealership in Pietermaritzburg (same dealership that sold me the car). I explained my frustration to one of the manager, his name is Puban. He discourtously told me that I cannot only complain after 15 months of having bought the car, and therefore they not help me.

The response was obviously not fair and I don't think the the manager (Puban) didn't know what was he talking about. I also feel that I was sold a s**** car by Kia Dealership. Kia dealership is one of the well known and biggest dealerships in South Africa, and I don't believe that they can sell s**** cars to their clients. As they are a big dealership, I want them to solve my matter in a fair and reasonable manner.
