Unresolved Problem...WORST Service!!!!!
WORST Service I ever received from Kia Dealership in Standerton, Mpumalanga.
I stay in Secunda and couldn't take my car to the dealership personally for a service, so Kia arranged for someone to pick my car up and then drop it off again at my house after servicing it. Everything was good until they needed to drop my car and on their way back to Secunda, they hit a pothole or something so my Front left Tyre needed to be replaced. I was okey with it because accidents happen.
BUT, I didn't drive with my car the Thursday when it had a spare wheel on and also didn't drive around with my car during the weekend. I went to work and back the Friday and the Monday which is 5 km away from my house so obviously I didn't realize that there was actually a bigger problem. The Tuesday morning on my way to work i realized that my back left Tyre was also flat. So when I took my car to Tyger wheel & Tyre in Secunda then only did I realized what was going on.
They told me that when KIA was there to fix my front Tyre , my rim was also badly bend and needed to be fixed, which was NEVER mentioned to me by KIA. The rim of my left back Tyre that was flat also needed to be fixed due to being bend. My front right Tyre had a massive hole in and was badly torn and also needed to be replaced because the Tyre could tear completely any moment. My back right Tyre also had a cut in and rim was also hurt but not that bad.
When they put my car on the wheel alignment it showed that what ever they went through basically messed up all my alignment and it was so bad that my front wheels didn't even want to turn with the steering wheel.
I phoned KIA to explain to them whats going on and that I personally feel that they are the ones that need to pay for the damage, where I was told by the manager which was the same lady that drove my car that they will not fix it and how do they not know that it was me. I explained to them that I haven't really been driving my car so it definitely can't be me. When we took it up a bit higher with the owner of the dealership, Neville Richie, he made me feel belittled and didn't even try to give good customer service. According to me this incident needed to be reported by the lady that drove my car the same day it happened and it wasn't reported at all.
If I knew what actually happened I would have taken my car the following day after the incident for a full check up but I obviously only realized all of this the day I drove my car for second time.
Tyger wheel needed to replace the other 3 tyres and fix 1 rim. They needed to do balancing on each Tyre and wheel alignment because of everything that was wrong. The only thing KIA paid for was 1 Tyre and the rim. Now I'm left with R3000 that still needs to be paid which wasn't even my mistake.
I honestly feel that they must be kept liable for ALL the damages as I would have been liable for all damages on the Curtesy car that was given to me. I gave my KIA Picanto in such a good condition to them and NEVER have i driven my car that hard or that far to hurt my rims or damage my tyres the way they did. I literally only drive to work and back with my car which really isn't even a kilometer away.
I also tried phoning KIA South Africa to report all of this and they only told me to sort it out with the manager or Neville Ritchie. And both of them didn't even try and resolve this issue.
I need to know what to do please, otherwise I would need to take it even further than what I have by going to my lawyer, because this is really upsetting and unacceptable.
