my daughter took her car in Kia table veiw for a quote to have it repaired , without even doing a diagnosis test they quoted which took a full day to get the quote . they quote for timing cover R293,Crankshaft 4447.62 , crankshaft sprocket 214.13 Damper pulley R1313.60 , pulley damper R987.62 so on . Please can you explain what the difference is between Damper pulley R1313.60 and pulley damper R987.62, also why are new spark plugs been ordered as the car is not in for a service the oils are to be changed and gearbox oil anti freeze .<br> <br> to do the repairs it will take them 16 hours they can build a whole new car and more at R590 an hour <br> in all the years that i know about vehicle crankshaft can be redone and you do not have to replace them but then technician of today dont know that <br> <br> the car is now at Steves auto clinic and they are doing the repairs and doing a actual diagnosis of the fault on the car <br>
