traffic fines on car already sold

Last year October we sold our kia cerato and purchased a new model cerato. The car that was sold was used by the dealership using the license disk of our old car. Drivers at the dealership used the car and got traffic fines that came on my name for a car that was sold. I contacted kia and even dropped of the fines for them to pay. They failed to do so and today for the first time in my life I have received summons for a fine that was not even mine in the first place.
