Think twice before you buy KIA

Customer service this company has no idea what this means

Three weeks ago my wife books her vehicle in for a gearbox issue which we have been having problems since the first month of owning this vehicle, and was told it's a Kia gearbox we will get used to 3 years later we still not used it. When she arrives at the service department she is told she can service as she is close to the service interval, which see agrees to. She is then told she will get an Ubber to collect her from the service department. Communication on how this works again a lack of Where did the drop off system go?

The vehicle gearbox as per the mechanic said it requires something on the shaft …. Yes we know the shaft carries the gears .. What needed to be replaced? Four day goes by we had to call and find out what will have to be done .. Serena Jafta from the services department tells us that the part need to be ordered. My wife was told that she can pick up a rental but will have to pay R1500 when they drop off. The vehicle is under warranty why are we not getting a car from the service department? We received a car Hyundai I10 from Euro Car. When driving the car home the very first bump sounded like the wheels and engine was about to fall out. It took Euro car 1 week before they dropped another vehicle. Nothing better than what we had in any event.

After 3/4 weeks yesterday 17th May, we collected our vehicle from Kia and the gearbox is still not working properly. Guess what after we have requested the workshop report from Serena Jafta on what was done we still have not received a copy. We have phoned and followed up on the progress of our vehicle every week which turned onto days to find out how long what must be done.

Well we still don’t have the report, what we do have is to say that the flywheel was skimmed … so what part took 3 weeks to come from overseas?
