Terrible service

I'm always one to rant and rave about service when it is great but unfortunately this story is one relating to terrible service.

Excited to purchase a Kia Rio, I found a lovely red one at the Kia dealership in Paarden Eiland. Quickly, the sales assistant Raymond app**** for the financing to see whether I was eligible to take the vehicle that same day. I did not receive feedback from Raymond as timeously as I should have. Instead I found myself having to follow up with him. Alas, he confirms the bank approved my financing and i may collect the vehicle the following day. I went into Kia the next day and upon arrival, Raymond is not there despite telling me he would be there at noon. i waited and upon his return, he had committed to having the engine steam cleaned and the car should have been ready for my collection. He tells me he will need to collect the vehicle from my office the Monday when I return to work to have the scratches fixed, the car cleaned and the engine steamed. He did not call me on Monday to arrange a time to pick the vehicle up. Once again, I had to call and tell him I am disappointed in his service. He made several commitments and always had the excuse of "being busy". In my experience of being in customer service, you are never too busy to keep a customer updated on the progress. Once i called him, he arranged to collect the vehicle the following day which he did. He returned the vehicle to me and the only change he did was have the car cleaned. He did not have the scratches repaired and he promised he would call me the next day to arrange fixing the scratches. I also made him aware of the sound coming from the tyre which sounds like a bearing which may be out. I have not heard from Raymond again....it is more than 1 week later. I have subsequently come to find that there is a rattling sound under the dash when I drive over bumps. I also raised the fact that the casing around the right mirror is broken and he told me that I will need to do this at my own expense as they did not pick this up when they took the car for the road- worthy test. I'm too annoyed at this point to contact Raymond and have to liaise with someone as inept. I'm still within the 30 day period of having purchased a vehicle and hoping that somehow Kia will redeem my loyatly to them as I have been a client for the last 4 years and I'm losing faith in their service.
