Stay away from Kia Paarden Eiland for any maintenance

Only do the planned maintenance if you are locked in with those 5+- years plans since you are unable to do so with other dealerships. You have been warned.

First time doing a planned maintenance on the vehicle out of the 5 year free maintenance plan and guess my surprise.... They want to charge R250+- for each spark plug, while the price on their website almost goes for half the price. Their excuse, they get supp**** from some one else. So even with their website making money on their markups from their sales on their spark plugs, the maintenance team/side of the company thinks getting from another supplier at x2 the price must be a good idea. /sarcasm. Looks like I will be buying the spark plugs from one of the dozen other suppliers and spending 30 minutes myself installing them, saving R500+.

And when my vehicle is ready for pickup they better hope there is no additional scratches or damage to the body work like last time. I've learnt my lesson and taken pictures before hand. *also those two points of damage they found on the cars window screen, guess who will be replacing them for free if I found out it happened after the drop off.
