Second hand vehicle damage within 2 months after taking delivery - KIA Port Shepstone Failure!
I traded my vehicle in at Kia Port Shepstone, a Kia for a Audi. The service was excellent. However, slightly less than 2 months after buying the vehicle I started getting issues. waterleak, noises, bolts rattle. etc. I decided to take my car to SAC, for check. Turns out I had several issues. Waterleak due to radiator cracked, missing bolts throughout the engine, undercarriage etc. struts were finished etc etc etc. Costing me R20k + I then went back to KIA, the sales person whom I dealt with. Saying I am requesting KIA to provide inspection of the vehicle I took. As I don't believe proper inspection was done by delivery. Along with this, I am requesting them to pay towards the damages I encountered and had to fix (excluding the service parts and labour) and spare wheel, which was ripped (due to being overlay tire) It's been 3 weeks now and NOT a word from KIA Port Shepstone. IF this is how you do business with clients, then I will take you to the motor industry ombudsman. NO communication, no receipt and no one available.
