SA Warranties / Kia Diep Rivier

<p>In 2014 I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Kia Diep Rivier. I also requested a service plan as well as a Warranty. I signed the contract to purchase the vehicle on the 30th of May 2014. The SA Warranties motor warranty was printed and signed on the 22nd of May 2014, stating the warranty is valid for 24 months.</p> <p> </p> <p>Last week the 17th of May 2014 I took the vehicle for a service. The garage also found some other defects which we wanted to claim from SA warranties, as according to my knowledge and signed documentation the policy should end on the 22nd of May 2016. Upon submitting the claim for repairs, I was first informed that the policy was not active as no installments was made to SA Warranties. When we phoned a second time we were then told that the policy ended on the 4th of May 2016.</p> <p> </p> <p>What do I do? According to documentation in my possesion, the policy was still active when I took the vehicle in for the service, but according to SA warranties the policy expired.</p>
