Profiteering of parts: R46k for a set of allow wheels!

I was very excited about acquiring a new Kia Sonet until I got quoted over R46 000 for a set of alloy wheels as an optional extra. Later this was reduced to R37 000 whoopee.

In comparison, Volkswagen asks R7100 for alloy wheels.

What does this say about Kia profiteering from parts? R46k for a set of alloy wheels in this price bracket is daylight *******, or incredible stupid parts choice by Kia

Suddenly I am hesitant to buy a Kia.
