Poor Service Kia Port Shepstone

I purchased a brand new Kia Seltos from the Port Shepstone branch and traded in my vehicle as well, paid full in cash because the dealer said i needed to pay everything before i receive the vehicle, so i comp****. The sales rep was polite and helpful and agreed to the deal, sent me a quote which i agreed to. He also confirmed there wouldnt be any extra costs, as it will all be covered. He came and saw my Toyota WITH HIS DEALER PRINCIPAL, GRANT, when collecting the signatures and then picked up my Toyota and NATIS doc the next day. the registration for my new vehicle was not complete as he said he will retain my plates to later find out that he could not do so, so i lost the plates that i had for 10 years, strike 1. He said he will deliver the car once the registration is completed.

He calls the next day saying that my toyota is due for a service (which i didnt do cos of covid and Im selling it) and that i did not supply the spare key and theres scratches on my car, and that i need to pay for this! A dealer, after everything is signed and paid for is asking me these kind of questions....So my spare key i did not have in my possession, but said i would give it to them once i go back to jburg. the Toyota is still under a service plan, so why ask me to pay for that....pathetic behaviour from a dealership! strike 2.

So final strike was on the day i received my vehicle, a week later after paying in FULL. I was really excited and the sales rep says his driver is on his way BUT his dealer principal, GRANT, told him to not send my NATIS doc for the new vehicle until i supply the spare key. A Natis doc for a car i fully own, his withholding this!!! Didnt discuss it with me first, or ask me anything, just decides to not send it, aka the Dunning Kruger effect. Complete Delinquents! So i called, decided to pay for the key, and they finally sent everything through. not all that bad, but things that should have been discussed prior to a deal, was rushed for the greed of money, neglecting their own processes, and causing an unnecessary issue with a customer. They took away all the pleasure of me buying that SUV. Extremely poor service from the Port Shepstone Kia branch, and *********** people to deal with to make a trade. Stay away!
