Poor Customer Service East-Vaal Motor City Witbank

On the 15th ( Tuesday) of October 2019, I took my car for service in witbank eastvaal motor city, 4 days later ( saturday 19th), my car just could not move anymore, and could start as well. Fortunate enough it was at my place.

Monday morning on the 21st of October i called the garage ( East Vaal Motors)and told them that I brought my car for service on the 14th and on the 19th the car could move or start. They first didn't want to hear what I was saying up until they said I should tow the car to them, of which I did on the same day. On the next day they called me and told me that the starter has burnt, and I should pay R8400 for it and R1200 for labour. Then I asked them what if I get the starter myself and hand to them, then they can charge me for the labour, they refused, instead they told me there's a company they are working hand-in hand with , which is Quick-Lane still under them ( subsidiary company). I can get the starter and give it to them, desperately me, I agreed and my car was towed to quick lane,

I brought the starter to them and they told me the new stater has burnt as well. They will need to do diagnoses, desperate me I agreed. October gone pass, November gone pass and December as well. Now I'm the one who has been calling for feedback and no one is telling a straight forward response and yesterday when I called quick-lane to inquire, I was advised that the car was taken back to EastVaal Motor City in witbank for further assessments. Today I called again for update, I'm told nothing has been done they don't know why.

Today I'm sitting here not knowing if I still got a car or what,. I even regret why I took the car for service, since it's clear that when service was done, somewhere, something incorrectly was done, of which they want me to pay for it and they don't even show signs of remorse.. worst case scenario i ended up agreeing that I'll pay but still nobody know what is wrong with my car. Schools are opening, my work requires me to attend meeting and training, I'm forced to use public transport, so the kids as well.
