POOR AFTER SERVIVE
In 2022 I bought a kia picanto 1.2 x-line as new, though it was a demo, from kia roodepoort. My handbrake was so loose, it felt if I had to pull it up till elbow high each time. With my 15 000km service they had to reset my handbrake to MANIFACTURY SETTINGS! I settled with it. In 2023 I bought another kia picanto 1.2 x-line with a sunroof from the same dealership with the same saleslady - brand new. At 1 300km's I reported on a Sunday morning via whatsapp voice-mail to the saleslady that there is smoke coming out of my left side of my vehicle's bonnet and I struggle to go through my gears. From 1 300km to 7 ****m I had endless problems with this vehicle and every time when I addressed the problem to kia roodepoort's service manager, he gave me lectures how to drive with a clutch. I went to him at his office, sometimes I found him outside and I phoned him, just to get a lesson on how to drive with a clutch! (While I was in a situation where my mother was on her deathbed, me loosing my job, moving to my family house due to ******ies that took place) When I parked my vehicle in my car after taking my first normal breath, my neighbor came to me and asked me what is burning inside my vehicle. I told him the story. So on his advice, I contacted kia vanderbijlpark and spoke to the manager of the service department and he said I must book my vehicle immediately in for inspection...which I did. They found that the clutch cable was loose and they set it to MANIFACTORY SETTINGS! Now, my vehicle is driving BUT for 6 300km I complained about a problem and all answer that I got, was a lesson on how to drive with a clutch! My question is, how much damage is there on my clutch plate and gearbox because of a manifactory problem that was IGNORED by kia roodepoort's service department manager? And 4 years from now on, if I suffers from this incident, who I going to cover the cost OR will kia put the blame on normal WEAR AND TEAR and I have to curry the burden of the cost of replacing a clutch plate or gearbox? I already followed it up with kia complains SA...they pull up their shoulders! I already followed it up with Wesbank, they referred me back to the manager of kia Roodepoort, who seems to listen to His service manager's lies instead of my complains, proof of my 1st alarm and finding of another dealership. I want a new replacement of my vehicle with proof that everything is set as per MANIFACTURY SETTINGS! DONE!
