POOOOOOR SERVICE Kia Northcliff!!!

We bought our Kia Cerato for Northcliff Kia in Dec 2013. With this we took a Maintainance plan and a Scratch and Dent cover all at an extra cost.

We have done all our services on time from the day of purchase.

Earlier this year I took the car in for the 75 000 km service and to check the battery and a noise it was making.

Collected the car, all fine and fixed.

My husband contacted Kia last week to take the car in for the dent and scratch repair which we have not used and bought from them when purchasing the car.

When speaking to the service centre they did not really know how it works, or what to do, because apparently it is not done my Kia, so WE have to find an accredited centre who will accept the cover policy, but Kia Northcliff WHO sold us the cover cant help...

So in desperation we checked the service book to look for a sticker that apparently is in there for the scratch and dent cover, ONLY to find that there is no service history for the 75 000km when I took the car to the dealer for the battery and the "noise".

So we phoned and booked the car for this morning to do the 75 000 km service, and to try and get somebody to assist us with the dent and scratch cover.

With great attitude we were informed that as the car is now over 75 000 km they will no longer service it under the maintainance contract, even though the car was with them to do it when replacing the battery.. and sorry, but they also dont know how the dent and scratch cover works.. that THEY sold to us, WE must phone the insurer, find a centre that is accredited and take it there...

REALLY!!! What a *******!!

All service centres have a reminder placed on the window of your car as to when the next service is due.. not Kia Northcliff, so if we did not check the service book by accident, who would have known... and now it is a case of my word against yours, but I need to foot the bill for a service they have been paid for, as well as do the run around to figure out what needs to happen with this "policy" that THEY sold me,and also have been paid for.

WHAT AN ********* WAY TO DO BUSINESS!!!
