Parts not available exept from agents

I was a very big Kia fan for many years, until Jan 2018, when my Kia Sorento's clutch went at 135000km, it is a 2012 model, Kia's quote was R68000 to fix the clutch,i was quoted R36000.00 for only the flywheel from Kia. Needless to say had it done somewhere else for R24000, no where in SA could we find a dual mass flywheel for this car, eventually the old one was fitted back again with a new clutch kit, now the clutch master cylinder has broken aswell, costing RRR more. I just really would have liked to know why nobody ever informs you that getting parts for these vehicles are so difficult, they are not really available anywhere. I still cannot believe that the clutch went at 135 000km, I will be selling this Sorento very soon, and rather buy a vehicle that's parts are more freely available!
