Ommission of Information to clients and no accountability ...
I have the most disgusting and irritating situation with Kia select North cliff at the present moment!!!. Begining of this year i purchased a car with them (18/01/2019). I dealt with Steven Bianchina (sales Consultant) and Yolisa Sikitshana (finance lady). When i came for the delivery/ of the vehile on the 18th i sat for more than two hours waiting for the car and i was just told that they busy doing final checks on the car.
Eventually when it was time to sign my finance papers everything was discussed except the one important thing i needed to know, That they've signed me up for a telematrix beam tracker. I was never informed nor told prior that this would be added on the car purchase. There was no document given to me or any document i signed for this tracker (even on my finance contract).
Unfortunately it happend that i got hijacked on the 21st of april 2019, i called the dealer and spoke to Steven to find out if there's any way i could get help and he said unfortunately no. I went on to try and get assistance else (Mercedes - car brand is Mercedes A180), they tried all they could but nothing came out of it.
On the 6th of May i went through my emails dating as far as January, i then came acrosss a telematrix tracker certificate dated 18th January 2019. Only on the 6th i then discovered that the vehile had a tracking unit all along. I reported the matter with telematrix regarding the hijacking only on the 6th (alomost two weeks later ).
I called the dealer again and spoke to Steven to ask him why wasnt i notified that there's a fitted tracker on the car that has already been paid in advance for three years because i could have reported that the car got hijacked, his response was " i didnt know that there was a fitted tracker on the car, otherwise i could have told you ". He reffered me to Yolisa to find out why i was never told about this.
As soon as i got hold of Yolisa, I tried getting all the answers but all i got was that they deal with alot of cars, she wouldnt really remember if this was dicussed or not with me! As a Representative of a serivce provider such as KIA, Full disclosure of information such as this is a requirement. Proof or some sort of record needs to be kept as evidence that this was discussed with me, but in this case there's nothing.
Now telematrix is not yet able to track the car because the matter was reported late! I ask myself how are these contracts done ? and why is such crucial information kept away from a client ...
