NEW CAR PROBLEMS

I bought a new KIA Sportage 2020 and 3 months in im having problems. The locking mechanism that locks the fuel cap broke, causeing the fuel cap to stay closed. Took it to KIA and the by passed the locking mechanism so that the fuel cap can open and close but can not lock. Worst is according to KIA there are no spares available in south africa or in Korea. How do you not have spares for new vehicles????? This means that i have a brand new vehicle that needs to be by passed so that it can be drivable without knowing when it will be repaired. So much for the market leading warrenty. I am starting to regret my dicision to buy a kia
