NEVER BUY A KIA
KIA after sales service really sucks. I purchased the top of the range diesel Kia Sportage in May 2017. The navigation system needed to be upgraded this year as I have had to use Google maps on my phone. I spend a lot of time on the road for business. When I enquired at my last service beginning October about the upgrade I was told that I have to PURCHASE an upgrade. What ******* considering I paid a lot of money for my car. It was suggested that I e-mail Antony Shiell the National Parts Manager. He tossed me over to Nasiphi Lekoto in Customer care who achieved absolutely NOTHING. I was then contacted by Bongane Madsaba to bring my car into the Boksburg workshop so they can upgrade the navigation. This also took several e-mails. When I arraived at the scheduled time with my car, nobody knew anything about the upgrade, and Bongane was nowhere to be found. After waiting for more than an hour while some guy tried to download the link, he finally gave up and told me it was not possible to do. I again tried to mail Antony Schiell and customer care, but to date they are avoiding me, and not even responding!!!!! DO NOT BUY ANY KIA AS THEY DO NOT PROVIDE ANY AFTER SALES SERVICE.
