Kia Tableview
I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from Renault Table View. My car had a faulty boot locker, which ended up draining my battery. I had the car towed to the dealership and was first told that I needed to buy a new battery because it was dead, despite me explaining that the battery was new.
Later, when I went to check on the car, I was told the problem was the alternator and advised to take it to Battery Centre. Battery Centre, however, confirmed that the alternator was perfectly fine. What’s worse is that Renault claimed someone had driven my car to test it, but the tracker trip sheet clearly showed the vehicle never left the workshop.
I took the car home, and the next day it was completely dead again. After having the battery recharged and returning the car, the service manager still insisted that the battery was the issue and pressured me into buying a new one. The car died again the next day. When I returned, I specifically asked them to check the boot locker, and only then did they confirm it was the actual issue all along.
They eventually placed an order for the boot locker and disconnected it in the meantime. But by then, I had already paid for a new battery I didn’t need and endured so much unnecessary back and forth, all because they didn’t do a proper diagnosis in the first place. Completely unacceptable experience.
