KIA Somerset West - Beyond Horrible Service

KIA SOMERSET WEST

I don’t even know where to start.

KIA has lost a client forever. I am far beyond disappointment. These problems/issues has caused unnecessary stress and worry in my life. Lots of phone calls and waste of petrol money.

I brought my car on 5 October 2018 and until this day (5 November 2018) I have not yet received my license disk or number plates. The temporary license KIA gave on 5 October, has expired on 1 November 2018. Before taking delivery of my car I asked for tinted windows, I had to wait one week after purchasing the car for the tint on the windows.

I traded in my Volkswagen UP for the new KIA Picanto Smart. KIA agreed they will settle the outstanding amount with WESBANK and I was approve by WESBANK for the Picanto. A week ago WESBANK started phoning me (non-stop), asking me why I haven’t paid my last installment on the Volkswagen UP. I followed up this issue with KIA. I have not yet had any response from KIA accept for we are working on the issue, it will be sorted out, and sorry we will get back you etc.

After so many calls and messages (from my side) and I have not yet received proof of payment from KIA to WESBANK. KIA did not return any of my calls or messages.

This weekend (Friday evening, 2 November) the radio went dead. It didn’t work. A new car and radio just died. How can a new car have a faulty radio??? I don’t understand

Today Bryan van Wyk (salesman) called me and promise me that my number plates will be sorted out today. A few minutes later his co-worker (I can’t remember his name) called me to inform that my number plates will be done the next day at KIA, he is also currently in Grabouw with the number plates. If he is in Grabouw why does the number on phone show KIA Somerset West. KIA is lying to me and hiding something.

I have talked to Bryan van Wyk, Waseella Bowers, Conway Bruce and Drikes (Byran Manager). I have gotten no results, just lies, empty promises and more lies.

This past Saturday (3 November) I went to the Garage of KIA Somerset West. Looking for Byran, he told me to bring my car in for the faulty radio. When I got to KIA Bryan was no were to be found. And he didn’t answer any messages or phone calls. Needless to say I'm done with KIA. This was and still is horrible service and beyond bad experience. I don't even deserve a one star rating.
