Kia sells cars with incorrect year models

I bought a Kia Sorento in 2006, the dealer in Cape Town advertised it and sold it (invoiced it) as a 2006 model. Apparently a demo model. It may have had its first licencing in 2006, however, a dealer told me that it is in fact a 2005 model according to the Kia system. Well i will take it up under the Consumer Protection Act. This is misrepresentation, false advertising and potentially **********.
