KIA ROODEPOORT THE MOST CRUEL DEALERSHIP

I purchased my Kia Picanto start in January 2019 and also included a Maintenance plan within my monthly installments toward the vehicle. I bought the car when it was at 25km and took the car in for its first service during the month of February at 30km.

On the 23.04.2019 my car started heating up and the indicators and hazards stopped working. Since I had to be at work my partner took my car back to Kia Roodepoort to see why all this is happening.

Without explaining to him the costs involved for them to check what is wrong with car they took the car and examined what was wrong. I then called Kia to find out what is going on and I was put through to a person call Marietjie who told me that my Radiator has three holes in it and I will have to pay an amount R12000 to replace it, when I asked her why my warranty cannot fix the damages as I only have the car for a period of four months. She said my warranty nor my maintains plan covers the radiator, I asked her how did three holes appear on the radiator she then told me that I drive too close to the trucks and the fumes get into the car from the trucks and that's how the holes appear. I told her I don't have R12000 so I will take the car, she said they will only release the car if I pay an amount of R897 for the diagnostic report, because they have given me advice on whats wrong. I paid the R897 as I needed my car back.

Kia Roodepoort sold me an un-roadworthy vehicle, On the diagnostic report it says that the holes on Radiator was caused by a foreign object, I have never had an accident with the car, so what object are they talking about. I believe when they sold me the car they used a liquid called Radiator leak stop to cover the holes on the Radiator that's why I was able to drive the car for four months.

They did not even bother fixing my indicators or hazards and I am still till today driving a car without my indicators and hazards working, yet the car as a warranty and i did take to them, but they never helped.

My car heated up this morning on my way to work and now its costing me my job as I need my car for work, Kia Roodepoort is one cruel dealership
