KIA not willing to help of=n a car they sold with clutch issues with 6 months of purchase
KIA Randburg sold me a car that has issues and trying to pin me for it.
I bought a Kia Picanto manual car in Oct 2020, and in Feb 2021 (4 months later) it started having funny sounds on the clutch. I took it in and they said they replaced it.
The same issue happened in June 2021 (4 months from the last issue). Again, the issue happened again 1st week of March 2022 at KIA The Glen. They said they adjusted the clutch but do not know what the issue is, for them to investigate I may pay roughly R4000 for the labour. The issue is starting again as I felt the clutch is starting to be weak again.
I called the manager of pre-owned sales at KIA Randurg and he is telling me about declining extended warranty and that I might have to pay. I told him that my issue is not about warranty but that I bought a car that gave me issues within the 1st 6 months and now the issue still persists a year after they claim they fixed the clutch.
This is really frustrating and I need help for KIA to either really replace the clutch or refund me for the purchase of a car with defects.
