Kia Northcliff Service Staff are *******

I feel let down by Kia as one of the companies I have valued since engaging myself in the automotive industry.

20 July 2018, I took in my Kia Optima for service. Unfortunately, I unintentionally forgot my cellphone in the arm-rest. I removed what I could remember from the car (Headsets, USB, Tablet), but forgot the phone.

I have been servicing my previous car (Kia Koup) at this dealer. With my first service, I could not find my USB in the car. The USB only had music, so no fuss and thereafter I have never forgotten anything that is valuable in the car.

I am been told about the notice that instruct customers to remove all their valuable belongings from the car. What about the things we forget. Doesn't this notice allow your employees to ***** knowing that there will be no questions asked? Knowing that the loss to a customer is a gain to them + Kia will avoid this liability by all means?

I was assisted by Shirley (great lady), but right now I am in a position to overlook that if my cellphone is ****** in the hands of Kia. Johan Fritz (the Manager), I guess his job is to protect the employees and care less about the customer. I had to remind him that I lost my phone after 12 days of raising this incident with Shirley and he came back to say "sorry there is nothing I can do". Not even surveillance video investigation.

I guess losing one customer makes no difference, I will find my way out of Kia. I guess there are better Companies that will be willing to go an extra mile to ensure that the customer's confidence in the dealer as always positive that a dealer who only seek to make money with care, even from customers constant customers.

I would appreciate to have my cellphone back, 21 month pending payments are just long whilst someone is still protected for *****ing it
