KIA MOTORS VEREENIGING ARE CROCKS
Good day I am writing this review as my last resort I hope I will find help. We bought a car CASH with my Sister for R135 000 at Kia Motors Vereeniging on the 20 October 2018 and the sales man name was Simon and His manager Tommy Butcher. While on the process of purchasing the car, they didn't explain to us that according to the used or second used car policy or whatever case might be they could only cover certain part of the cost to fix the damages on the car. That was not done and they only promised while we were busy inspecting the car that they will repair all the scratches on the car. After The paper work, we were given the car because we wanted to use it to arrange for funeral and we were advised by Simon that we will have to call him so that he can arrange with the mechanic to fix the dents on the bumper, the griller, on the right hand side below the back door, the previous owner I think he drove over something hard and it twisted the bottom part of the body next to the wheel rashes. After The funeral we took the car to the dealership to be repaired that was on the 06 November 2018, on the 15 November 2018. We received a call from the dealership saying that the car was fix therefore we can come and take the car, We went to the dealership to fetch the car. When Phillip got to the dealership he inspected the car, first the car was dirty, they only fix the right hand back part of the car, painted or sprayed the door part that holds the door panel and they button that is used to open the car boot was not replaced as promised. When asking the caretaker manager why didn't they fixed the car as agreed, he said that Simon and Tommy authorised only the part that holds the door panel as well as to fix the right hand back that needed to be fixed and that as all. Now, they have done only that the suprising part of the whole story is that the button that was supposed to be replaced for the boot, it wasn't fixed and Phillip was told that he can pass by the mechanic and the button of the boot will be replaced. The question I am asking myself is that how come the car was not inspected as soon as it was brought back to the dealership and if Phillip didn't inspect the car they were going to refuse to take the blame.Phillip asked the caretaker manager why was the car not inspected, he said that he thought that the car was fix as agreed. He didn't had time to check the car, he was in and out of the office at the end of the day it wasn't his job to inspect the car and he didn't sell the car to us. Phillip told him that he failed to do his job that is when he mentioned that he was not the one who sold the car to us, he did what he was instructed to do and that was it. I am asking myself how many people whom were de*****ed by the same dealership or we got that treatment because the car was bought by the blacks so there is nothing much that was important and yet they took our money. We bought the car cash. Phillip decided to leave the car at the dealership since it wasn't complete and my Sister decided to ask her boyfriend to go fetch the car fearing that they might do further damages to the car. When my Sister called Simon he changed the whole statement and said that we agreed on two issues of which they told us that they were going to fix all the scratches and dents on the car of which they didn't door. Phillip told Simon and the caretaker manager that he want the car to be fixed or they must refund us,Simon said that he was going to speak to the caretaker manager to fix the issue out and when my Sister called him he changed the story as I have stated above and said that they won't fix the car. The question is that why didn't they tell us before buying the car we were gonna decide whether we were continuing with purchasing the car or go to another dealership.
