Kia Motors Somerset West

In June, I bought a second hand Nissan NP 200 from Kia Motors Somerset West, biggest mistake I ever made. On the 4TH October 20 we noticed the vehicle had a vibrating sound, when driven at a low speed. We contacted the dealership (Kia Motors) the following day. We informed Priyeshan Chinsamy, the salesperson. Then on 5 October, he instructed us to take the vehicle to Nissan Helderberg for a diagnosis and the possibility of repairing the issue.

Later that day we informed by Nissan Helderberg that the car shuffle was defective. They also proceeded to say that, even though the car is still under Nissan warranty. They cannot repair it because someone had already tempered with the vehicle.

Nissan quoted us at R9 000, to repair the vehicle. Priyeshan assured us that they will cover the cost, and we are not at fault or the causes of the damage. On that same day, the vehicle was picked up by Kia Motors and transported to their premises. I have been paying for a car that is not in my possession and has defect.

Ever since that day, I have been the one calling Priyeshan, on a number of occasions requesting feedback with regards to repairing the vehicle. He has been giving me story after story. After so many attempts, to trying to get them to repair the vehicle. I have resorted to returning the vehicle, I have had the vehicle for less than 6 months, and the vehicle has a defect that they refuse to account for. I have sent an email to their dealer principle, and still no reply. I want them to cancel my contract ASAP.
