KIA MOTORS FINANCIAL RAPING CUSTOMERS!!!!

Below is a letter addressed to the manager of Kia motors Northcliff branch . A copy of this letter has also been sent to the Multi franchise customer as well as to Wesbank ,To this day I had no response . I feel that what is happening in the car retail trade is the Financial **** of the PUBLIC.

The Manager Kia Motors Northcliff . Good day I have recently bought a Kia Picanto 1.0 start from your branch .I was under duress due to the fact that both my car engine and my son's car engine blew up the same week -end and I rushed blindly into the above dealer ..However I do know the laws of the country do protect consumers . I made inquiries at your branch regarding the purchase of a small car for my son , after visiting your website and I spoke to Mr Vusi tsosane who repeated to me the same selling price as it appeared on your website ad . He explained to me the different ways of concluding a deal through bank financing whereby I pay a low instalment for three years and a balloon payment at the end of the agreement and I suggested paying R30 000(THIRTY THOUSAND RAND)and was told that in that case it will be a straight forward Hire Purchase Agreement with only monthly instalment to pay . I agreed on 72 instalments . Two days after my visit to your branch , I went back to find out if the application for finance has been approved. Mr Tsosane informed me that 'YES' it was approved and I must see the finance lady for the signing of the HP AGREEMENT,I did sign on an electronic gadget (first and last time I will ever repeat such stupidity),believing that all am signing for is the Hire Purchase agreement s per terms discussed with Mr Tsosane. According to my experience , I worked for a number of years in the motor industry for a listed company with 54 branches, as a Group financial controller, the purchase agreement must be duly and properly completed, all items charged must be a previously discussed with the sales person, before being presented for signature by the client . If the agreement is not ready the client should not be asked to sign. The copy of my agreement was not forwarded to me . It was collected by my son three weeks later. This is the summary of my complaint: (a)I was given the price of the car as being R139 495.No other accessories were mentioned and therefore I cannot accept such charges . The tinting of windows and metallic colour was part of the factory production and not an accessory. (b)Service and Delivery; it was collected by me . The presentation you created is part of your marketing and selling strategy. You cannot give me a gift hamper for buying your product and expect me to pay for it (how ridiculous) (c)Crystal fusion :I do not even know what this item happens to be . (d)License fee: The client must be given the option to do it him/herself
