KIA more like "the power not to surprise"
To whom it may concern,
I trust that this email finds you well.
I am extremely frustrated and annoyed at the lack of service that I have received from my dealer and I cannot begin to explain the exasperation that I am experiencing.
The 2nd of December I took my car in for a clutch repair at The Glen Kia motors and I was told that it would be refurbished by the close of business , I paid an amount of plus minus R 9000 for the repair, which I paid with no hassles.
I then went on to book the car for service the following week( at the very same The Glen KIA Motors) as it was due for basic service and I had to undergo a long journey to the Eastern Cape, which is 850 km’s away and is based in a remote area with very limited resources.
I recieved a call after the service to come collect my vehicle but to my disbelief the diagnostic report stated that the clutch was shuddering, the very same clutch they was supposedly replaced 2 weeks prior to the service.
Upon collection of the vehicle I requested the service consultant to call on the workshop head mechanic as I was in dismay regarding the revalations that had been brought to my attention. The so called mechanic gave me excuses and said that there could be a defect in the part itself, he then requested that I return the car for 3 days so that they can replace the part.
Fast forward 19/01/2018, I called in to book the car for the repair /replacement which was than scheduled for the 22/01/2018.
I also requested to have the manager(Conrad)contact me as I wanted him to be aware of the level of dissatisfaction with his dealership.
2018/01/23 went back to collect my vehicle , I was assisted by the Sales guys as all their admin consultants had left. Firstly my car keys were no where to be found and secondly the job card was awol.
I have the following issues with KIA:
1. There are incompitent people working at your dealerships. 2. My safety was compromised throughout this whole process (clutch kit not installed properly) 3. I am still not certain if the car was actually fixed as no job card was provided upon request 4. I fail to believe that the parts that the dealership used are original, as the shuddering of parts is associated with bogus brands. 5. As for the mockery reffered to as a car wash, my car came out of the looking more filthy than when it went in. 6. The data on my display screen was incorrect, the time and date on the screen was shocking . I therefore request that I receive a full refund as I chose Kia believing that I will get value for my money, clearly I was misinformed as this has been the worst service by far.
