KIA HATFIELD - "The power to suprise" with pathetic customer service
Extremely disappointed and frustrated with the level of service that I have received from Kia Hatfield. It was definitely not what I expected. I purchased a vehicle at the beginning of February this year. The vehicle is still not registered by the dealership, it has numerous issues that was not disclosed to me before I purchased it. I did not receive a spare key(which I was promised would be posted to me the following week) and the one that I did receive can not lock or unlock the vehicle. The gear lever is faulty. The Park distance control is faulty and makes one hell of a noise, I cant understand how the vehicle made it through the roadworthy as the diff also needs to be replaced. The current state of the diff is so bad that I was recommended by the specialist who inspected the vehicle not to drive it at all. I purchased an extended warranty from the dealership with the vehicle for peace of mind, only to be notified by SA Warranties that the warranty has till this day not been processed by the dealership and they are still awaiting documentation from KIA Hatfield. I have raised all these issues on numerous occasions with the dealer principal via email, only to be ignored. I tried contacting him telephonically a few times but the lady at reception keeps taking my details ensuring me that he will contact me after which she usually reminds me of how busy he is, "but he will contact me".............Still waiting. So in short I purchased a vehicle from KIA South Africa and 2 months later the vehicle is still not registered and not driveable. Not being able to get into the vehicle that you purchased 2 months ago to drive to work is by no means acceptable. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had in purchasing a vehicle. The lack of feedback is an insult and should not be expected from a franchise dealership like KIA. For further information you can contact me on ********** 590 I would appreciate it if I can at least get feedback and assistance from KIA South Africa to resolve this matter. But to be honest my expectation of KIA resolving this matter is hanging as low as the diff on the vehicle I purchased from them
