Kia Edenvale worst service

I bought my Kia Rio in February at Kia Airport. the past weekend(25/26 May 2017) the speedometer stopped working and i called the dealership where i bought the car from. I was reffered to Kia Services in Edenvale and was told to bring the car at 07h00-09h00 today on tuesday the 29/05. I arrived before 07h00 in the morning and i was number 04 in the queue. i was assisted by a gentleman named Grant Poley & told me that they can never determine how long it'll take for them to fix the problem in the car. They offred me transport to take me to work. literally 5minutes after i have arrived at work they called and told me that my wires were eaten my rats, that's why the speedometer is not working anymore. they told me that Kia does not cover that and my insurance doesnt cover that as i enquired as well. Grant told me that its either they fix my car or i come collect it. he told me it would cost R3000. i told him that i would revert back to him after an hour. After discussing with my wife we agreed to go ahead, although we were suspicious that the problem cant be that rats ate our wires because the rest of the dashboard was working fine. i called grant back and gave him the go ahead and then he told me that the total cost will be R3500. i queried the price with him and told him that it was way above my budget. he then asked what i can afford and he did a recalculation of the costs of whatever the wires and service sosts and he came down to R2600. I'm now left with compromising the debit order for paying my car(MFC Nedbank) at the expensive of this poor, unfair and suspicious treatment. He then called me again and told me that the car will only be ready tomorrow(30/05/2017) with a very forceful voice and told me either i take my car or they continue to fix it. i was left without a choice but to blindly acept everything this gentleman said to me over the phone even when i woke up early to be number 4 on the queue. I regret buying this car. I didnt know i would get such service post buying the car. How did Grant Poley afford to change and twist and turn prices the way he felt like he should? i have kids to take to school, a wife to take to work. i called him(Grant) back to beg him to do my car today & he said the economy of the country has allowed them to have one person and not two people to work on my car. furthur to this i must make a plan to catch a taxi to go and fetch my car because the only drop off clients and do not fetch them. i work in Rivonia but i was reffered to the Edevale branch, why was i not reffered to Sandton branch close to my workplace at least. i left all my personal documents and i asked Grant if he could get one of the drivers to bring my ID and licence left in the car but he said he'll see, i must call him back at 1pm. I'm starting to even regret the colour of my skin in this country. i've never played the race card at any time but this is becoming too much because mostly financial implications that i have to commit blindly to. Eitherways God is good & He will recompense & revenge on my behalf. i dont even know where to turn to for assistance against this poor poor experince.- Sifiso Sithole(Bayport SA head office-Rivonia)
