Before you think about buy a Kia just know that Kia employees thinks they are above you and you should be glad that they speak to you and listen to you. They forget that I drive the brand you work for and it does not matter which Kia I drive I should be gettign service which I am not.

Loved my picanto for a year, drove like a dream, good petrol usage and that is because I did not had to deal with kia during that year.

First service - contacted Hillcrest as its the nearest dealershiip to me. They will call me back, I am happy and I get the call and miss the call..... get a call straight after and answer the call. I was told that they just called and I did not answer the call. The service person refused to call me to arrange my service. I have taken this to head office ......like I said kia does not give service I am waiting 5 months to why this was acceptable. So when I finally realized that I now need to book with another dealership I book in at as I am there for the day. Booking my service was quick and easy.

I receive my car back from the first service, my refs are loud, my car is heavy on petrol and I have a vibrate all that was not there when my car was givien to kia to service. I take my car back and they say nothing is wrong I contact head office that and in true kia bad customer service dont care. Head office did say to take it in to any dealership, so off I go to durban central. OMW what a rude person just said that I must pay R1000 for them to even look at the car, it seemed that I wasted his time to have a discussion with him. Did not ask what car, how old, mileage NOTHING. turned around and walked awasy

Remember I said bad service - think before you by Kia

So I decided to take my car in again. My petrol usage is now from 6.3 perlitre to 8.7 my refs are all over the place and when my car refs high my car engine makes a noise. They agree yes my car battles to switch gears, but my diagnostic is fine so there is nothing they can do. They let a machanic (should actually say person that does not know thrir own brand) and he says that my car must refs to 5-6-7 to chage gears ......... so you send you car in for a service and they dont even know anything about the cars they are servicing. That made my blood boil a they think as a female they can tell you stuff like this. I asked him why is this only afte rthe service becasue because I never had this issue prior to the service. Could not answer me........

So now I drive a car with the refs al***** the place, battles to get into gear vibrate on my car and high petrol usage andkia does not care
