KIA BATTERY FAILURE

I purchased a Kia Ria 2012 1.4 model in 2014 February, to my surprise the battery started failing resulting to me struggling to start the car. I then consulted Kia Roadside Assistance on the 18th of Jan 2016. I was advised to go to the nearest KIA as they don't send out someone to replace a battery. As asked I did exactly that, at the Malibongwe KIA dealership I was told to contact KIA Silverton where I purchased the car they cant assist they can only diagnose the car for certain fee(what if the car was purchased in Cape Town???)... Question to KIA SA/Imperial Motors: When selling your cars do your workshops replace batteries if reselling a used car or do you give the customers the manufactures installed batteries irregardless of when we purchase the cars?
